I am pleased to welcome you to School of Information Technology. As a part of College of Internet Distance Education (a college within Assumption University of Thailand - aka ABAC), we are committed to provide quality academic programs on computer, communication, and information technology to our students and public through the latest technology in education, which realizes the anywhere and anytime learning experience.

The school began its operation in October 2004 with its first master degree program (M.Sc. in ICT) approved by the university council in December 2004. Four areas of study are identified to correspond with the current and near-future demand of the IT market, and are reflected as four majors offered by the program:

(a) Information Technology
(b) Technology Management
(c) Computer Communications and Network, and
(d) Computer Graphics and Animation.

Currently, courses will be exercised in blended learning mode, which combines the benefit of traditional classrooms with complementary e-learning materials and collaboration technology. The preparation for the mainstream e-learning approach is underway and will be offered in the near future as dictated by the governmental policy and guidelines. Of course, no matter which delivery methods you choose, quality is always the primary objective.
